Hey. We're Marzigram (the "Organization," "we," "us," "our"), a loosely federated collective.
We run the site at marzigram.dev and any related products and services that link to these terms (together, the "Services").
Have a question? Email us at hello@marzigram.com.
By using anything we make, you're agreeing to these terms. If you don't agree, please stop using the Services.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll let you know, usually by email at hello@marzigram.com, and the updated version takes effect once it's posted. Sticking around after that counts as agreeing.
The Services are for people 13 and up. If you're a minor (typically under 18), you need a parent or guardian's permission and supervision to use the Services. Please loop them in before signing up.
We recommend saving a copy of these terms for your records.
We can't guarantee our content is legal everywhere. If you're accessing the Services from somewhere it shouldn't be, that's on you to know.
The Services aren't tailored for industry-specific rules (HIPAA, FISMA, GLBA, etc.). If your situation requires that kind of compliance, this isn't the right tool.
The code, design, content, branding, and marks (logos and the like) we put out are ours, owned or licensed to us.
Our Content and Marks are protected under copyright, trademark, and related intellectual property laws recognized in most countries.
Content and Marks are provided in or through the Services as is, for your personal, non-commercial use only.
If you follow these terms (including "What's Off-Limits" below), we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use only. You don't have any right to download, save, print, or otherwise retain Content beyond what's needed for normal browser viewing.
Anything beyond that, including copying, reselling, republishing, distributing, or exploiting Content or Marks commercially, needs our written permission first.
Want to use our Services, Content, or Marks for something else? Send your request to hello@marzigram.com. If we say yes, please credit us as the owner or licensor and keep our copyright and ownership notices visible on anything you post.
We reserve all rights we haven't expressly given you.
Breaking these rules is a material breach of the terms, and your right to use the Services ends immediately.
Before you post or upload anything, please read this section and "What's Off-Limits" so you know the rights you give us and the obligations you take on.
Submissions: If you send us a question, comment, suggestion, idea, or feedback about the Services (a "Submission"), you're assigning the intellectual property rights in that Submission to us. We can use it for any lawful purpose, without credit or payment.
Contributions: When you post, comment, share, or otherwise create or upload content through the Services (a "Contribution"), you keep ownership but grant us the license described below. Anything you Submit that's also posted publicly is treated as a Contribution.
Contributions may be visible to other users and through third-party sites.
The license you give us: By posting Contributions, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to host, copy, store, display, distribute, translate, adapt, excerpt, and otherwise use your Contributions (including your image, name, and voice if included) for any purpose related to running, promoting, or providing the Services. We may pass this license to our infrastructure providers (CDNs, backups, etc.) so the Services actually work.
Where applicable, this covers your name, brand or franchise name, trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, and personal or commercial images you've included.
What you're agreeing to when you post: By making Submissions or Contributions through the Services, or by linking a social account to the Services, you:
You're responsible for your Submissions and Contributions. If you breach this section, third-party IP rights, or applicable law, and we end up paying for it, you'll reimburse us.
We can edit or remove things: We don't have to monitor Contributions, but we can edit or remove anything we reasonably think is harmful or breaks these terms, at any time, without notice. If we do, we may also suspend your account and report you to the authorities if the situation calls for it.
We respect other people's IP. If you think something on the Services infringes a copyright you own, see the Copyright Complaints section below.
By using the Services, you confirm: (1) the info you give us is true, current, and complete; (2) you'll keep that info accurate; (3) you have the legal capacity to agree to these terms; (4) you're at least 13; (5) if you're a minor, you have a parent or guardian's permission; (6) you won't use bots or scripts beyond what our APIs explicitly allow; (7) you won't use the Services for anything illegal or unauthorized; and (8) your use won't violate any law that applies to you.
If any of that stops being true, we can suspend or close your account, and refuse any current or future use of the Services.
You'll register to use most of Marzigram. Pick a strong password and keep it private. Everything that happens under your account is your responsibility. We can reclaim or change a username if it's misleading, offensive, or impersonates someone. Tell us right away if you spot suspicious activity on your account.
Anything we offer is subject to availability. We might discontinue items at any time, and prices can change. We do our best to describe things accurately, but we can't promise zero typos or that colors render identically on every screen.
We take Bitcoin over the Lightning Network. Pay with a BOLT 12 offer: reusable, fast, and keeps your wallet's identity private using blinded paths.
When someone subscribes to your channel, Marzigram keeps 15% of each payment and the rest lands in your earnings balance. If you are on a promotional rate, your Earnings page shows the rate and the date it runs through. We will let you know in advance if the standing fee changes; the new fee applies to payments collected after that.
When money is heading the other direction, you can pick:
Please keep your info current (especially your email) so receipts land and we can reach you if something needs sorting out.
By subscribing to a channel, you agree to pay the price shown, and you authorize us to draw it from your Marzigram balance (the sats you top up over Lightning), at activation and at each renewal. If we mess up a price, we can correct it, even after you've paid.
We can refuse a payment or hold back a payout, in our reasonable judgment, if we believe you're using the Services to launder money.
New to Lightning? Strike is the easiest place to start.
Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You authorize us to draw each renewal from your balance every 30 days, with no fresh approval needed each time. If your balance can't cover a renewal, the subscription lapses instead of going into debt.
If we offer a trial, the terms will be spelled out when you sign up. Trials convert to paid plans at the end of the trial period unless you cancel first.
Cancel from account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current cycle, and you keep access until then. Questions or issues with the Services? Email us at hello@marzigram.com.
If subscription prices change, we'll let you know in advance. The new price applies at your next renewal. Keep using the Service after that, and you've accepted the change.
Bitcoin payments are final, so refunds aren't the default. If something genuinely went wrong (double charge, wrong product, that kind of thing), email support and we'll make it right.
Use the Services only for what they're meant for. The Services aren't for commercial endeavors except those we specifically endorse or approve.
When you use the Services, please don't:
The Services may let you post to channels, comment on posts, or chat, and otherwise create, upload, or share content (together, "Contributions"). Contributions may be visible to other users and through third-party sites, so anything you share is treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary. When you create or share a Contribution, you confirm:
Breaking any of these promises violates these terms and can result in suspension or closure of your account.
Adult content (explicit nudity and sexually explicit material between consenting adults) is allowed on Marzigram when it's posted in line with this section. It's still a Contribution, so everything in "What You Post" and "What's Off-Limits" applies on top of the rules here.
You confirm you're at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, whichever is higher, before you create, upload, share, or knowingly view adult content. If you can't honestly say that, please don't engage with adult content on Marzigram.
If you post adult content, you confirm: (1) every identifiable person was at least 18 when the content was recorded or created; (2) every identifiable person gave free, informed, written consent to the recording or creation, to it being shared through the Services, and to any paid access you've set up; (3) you can produce that written consent, plus a government-issued ID verifying age, if we ask; (4) the content wasn't produced or distributed in violation of any law that applies to you, including 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and equivalent record-keeping rules elsewhere; and (5) you have every other right, release, and license needed to share it.
Use the adult-content tags and channel settings we provide so the content is filtered out for users who haven't opted in and for regions where it's restricted. Don't disguise adult content as something else, and don't strip or fake tags.
Some content is never permitted, even if everyone involved says they consent. You won't post, link to, or transmit content that depicts (or appears to depict):
Marzigram isn't the producer or records custodian for the adult content you post. If you create depictions of actual sexually explicit conduct, you're the producer for record-keeping purposes under 18 U.S.C. § 2257 (and any equivalent law that applies to you), and you're responsible for keeping the required records and making them available to the right authorities. We may, but aren't required to, ask you for proof of those records.
Adult content may be blocked, age-gated, geofenced, or otherwise restricted in regions where the law requires it. If you access the Services from one of those regions, that's on you, and using a VPN or other workaround doesn't shift the legal responsibility back to us.
If you charge for access to adult content (subscriptions, pay-per-view), payments and payouts run through the rules in Purchases, Payments, and Payouts. We can hold, reverse, or refund a payment if we reasonably believe the underlying content breaks these terms or the law.
We can review, label, age-gate, restrict by region, demonetize, or remove any adult content at any time, with or without notice. We can suspend or close any channel or account that breaks the rules in this section, and in serious cases (especially anything involving minors or non-consensual content) we'll report it to law enforcement.
By posting Contributions to the Services, or by linking a social account so Contributions are accessible through the Services, you (and you confirm that you have the right to) grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable, irrevocable license to host, use, copy, reproduce, sell, resell, publish, broadcast, archive, store, cache, perform, display, reformat, translate, transmit, excerpt, and distribute your Contributions (including your image and voice where included) for any purpose related to running, promoting, or providing the Services, and to make derivative works. This license applies across any current or future media format or channel.
Where applicable, this includes your name, business or franchise name, trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, and personal or commercial images. You waive any moral rights in your Contributions, and confirm no one else has claimed moral rights in them either.
We don't claim ownership of your Contributions. You keep full ownership, including any IP rights. We aren't liable for anything in your Contributions, and you're responsible for what you post. You agree not to come after us about your Contributions.
We can, at our discretion, (1) edit, redact, or change Contributions; (2) re-categorize Contributions to better fit where they live in the Services; and (3) pre-screen or remove Contributions at any time, for any reason, without notice. We don't have to monitor your Contributions, but we may.
If we provide review areas, please follow these guidelines: (1) review only things you've actually experienced; (2) no profanity, abuse, racism, or hateful language; (3) no discriminatory references based on religion, race, gender, national origin, age, marital status, sexual orientation, or disability; (4) no references to illegal activity; (5) don't post negative reviews about competitors if you're affiliated with them; (6) don't make legal conclusions; (7) no false or misleading statements; and (8) don't run review-bombing campaigns, positive or negative.
We can accept, reject, or remove reviews at our discretion. We're not obligated to screen them, and we're not endorsing them. By posting a review, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to reproduce, modify, translate, transmit, display, perform, and distribute everything related to that review.
You can link your Marzigram account to third-party accounts (Instagram, etc.) by giving us login info or letting us connect via OAuth or similar. You confirm you're allowed to share that access with us, and that doing so doesn't break your agreement with the third party or cost us anything.
When you connect a third-party account, you understand we may access, surface, and store content from that account ("Social Network Content") so it's available through the Services, including friend lists, and we may exchange additional info with the third party as you've been told. What ends up visible depends on what you've set in that third-party account.
If a third-party account or service becomes unavailable, or our access is cut off, the related Social Network Content may stop being available through the Services. You can disconnect a third-party account from your Marzigram account at any time. Your relationship with third-party service providers is governed solely by your agreement with them, not by these terms.
We don't review Social Network Content for accuracy, legality, or anything else, and we're not responsible for it. You agree we can access your contacts from a third-party account or device only to identify which of your contacts also use Marzigram. You can disconnect through account settings or by contacting us. We'll attempt to delete information stored on our servers obtained through the connection, except the username and profile picture associated with your Marzigram account.
The Services may link out to other sites or surface content from third parties ("Third-Party Websites" and "Third-Party Content"). We don't vet, monitor, or check this stuff for accuracy. We're not responsible for what's there, including content, accuracy, opinions, reliability, privacy practices, or any policies of the Third-Party Websites or the Third-Party Content.
A link, embed, or installation doesn't mean we endorse the third party. If you click out or install something, you do so at your own risk, and these terms no longer govern. Read the third party's terms and privacy policy before you go.
Any purchases through Third-Party Websites are between you and that third party, and we take no responsibility. We don't endorse what's sold there, and you agree to hold us blameless for any harm or loss arising from those purchases, that content, or that contact.
If we show advertisements, advertisers are responsible for their own content and any goods or services they offer. We just provide the space. We don't endorse what's advertised.
We reserve the right (but not the obligation) to: (1) monitor the Services for violations; (2) take action, including legal action, against anyone who breaks the law or these terms, including reporting them to authorities; (3) refuse, restrict, or disable access to any part of your Contributions; (4) remove or disable any content that's excessive in size or burdens our systems; and (5) otherwise manage the Services to protect our rights and keep things running properly.
Privacy matters. See our Privacy Policy. Using the Services means agreeing to that policy, which is incorporated into these terms. The Services run on infrastructure spread across multiple countries. If you access the Services from somewhere with different data laws, your continued use means you're consenting to having your data transferred and processed wherever that infrastructure happens to live.
We don't knowingly accept or solicit information from children. If we learn someone under 13 has signed up without their parent or guardian's involvement, we'll delete their info as soon as we reasonably can.
If something on the Services is using a copyright you own without permission, email us a Notification at the address below. We'll forward a copy to whoever posted or stored the material, with your personal contact details removed, so they can respond. Heads-up: in many places, knowingly misrepresenting infringement in a Notification can expose you to legal liability. If you're not sure, talk to a lawyer first.
For a Notification to be actionable, please include: (1) a physical or electronic signature of someone authorized to act for the rights owner; (2) the copyrighted work you're claiming, or a representative list if there are several; (3) which material is infringing and where to find it; (4) how to reach you: a mailing address and phone number, plus an email if you have one; (5) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn't authorized; and (6) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the info in your Notification is accurate, and that you're the rights owner or authorized to act for them.
Think your content was pulled by mistake? Email us a Counter Notification at the same address with: (1) what was removed and where it lived before; (2) your full name, mailing address, phone number, and email; (3) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was taken down by mistake or misidentified; (4) a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal district court where you live (or, if you're outside the U.S., any U.S. judicial district where we can be found) and that you'll accept service of process from the person who sent the original Notification, or that person's agent; and (5) your physical or electronic signature.
If we get a valid Counter Notification, we'll forward it to the original filer and put the material back between 10 and 14 business days later, unless during that window the filer tells us they've gone to court to keep it down. Knowingly misrepresenting anything in a Counter Notification can expose you to legal liability, including damages and legal fees.

If we get repeated valid copyright Notifications about the same account, we'll terminate that account. We decide what counts as "repeated" based on the circumstances, but as a baseline, three valid Notifications inside twelve months is enough to get an account closed. A Notification doesn't count toward that total if the sender withdraws it, if we reject it as invalid, or if you file a Counter Notification and the material goes back up. We may also terminate sooner in clear cases. Users whose accounts are terminated under this policy aren't welcome back under a new account.
These terms stay in effect while you use the Services. We can suspend or close your account, delete your posts, or block your access (IPs included), at our discretion, without notice, for any reason or no reason. Most often this happens when someone breaks these terms or applicable law.
If we've closed or suspended your account, please don't sign back up under your name, a fake name, or someone else's. Depending on what's going on, we may also pursue civil, criminal, or injunctive remedies.
If we're closing your account for repeated copyright complaints specifically, that's covered in more detail in the Repeat Copyright Infringers section above.
We can change, add, or remove things in the Services anytime, for any reason, without notice. Info on the Services isn't guaranteed to stay current. We may also pause or shut down parts of the Services, or the whole thing, without notice. We aren't liable for any of that.
We can't promise the Services will always be up. Hardware fails, code has bugs, and maintenance happens. All of that can cause interruptions, delays, or errors. You agree we have no liability for loss, damage, or inconvenience from downtime. Nothing here obligates us to keep the Services running, supported, or updated.
Marzigram is internet-native. We don't claim a specific national jurisdiction or pick a venue to drag you into. These terms are a good-faith agreement between you and us. Where mandatory consumer protection or other laws apply to you, those still apply. Otherwise, the terms are read the way a reasonable person on either side would have understood them when you started using the Services.
If something feels off about how we're handling things, please email us first. Give us thirty (30) days to try to work it out before doing anything else. Most things get sorted at this step.
If a dispute can't be resolved informally and ends up somewhere with legal authority, both sides agree it'll be handled one-on-one. No combining your dispute with anyone else's, and no acting as a representative for a group or the public.
Nothing in this section limits either side from seeking injunctive relief over intellectual property rights, or from bringing claims about theft, piracy, invasion of privacy, or unauthorized use.
There may be typos, errors, or out-of-date info on the Services (descriptions, prices, availability, etc.). We can correct or update anything at any time, without prior notice.
Marzigram is provided as is and as available. We're not promising specific results, accuracy, reliability, uptime, security, or that everything is bug-free and virus-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express and implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Concretely, we aren't responsible for: errors or inaccuracies in content; personal injury or property damage from your use of the Services; anyone getting unauthorized access to our servers or data; interruptions or transmissions that stop; bugs, viruses, or malicious code that get sent through the Services by someone; or losses tied to using content posted on, transmitted through, or available via the Services.
We don't endorse or guarantee anything advertised or offered by third parties through the Services or any linked sites, and we aren't part of any transaction between you and a third party. Use the same judgment online as you would anywhere else.
Things might go sideways in ways neither side could foresee or prevent. To the fullest extent the law allows, we and our contributors, providers, and licensors aren't liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages tied to the Services, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption, even if someone warned us they might happen.
If we do end up owing you something despite the above, the most we'll owe you in total for anything related to the Services, in any form of action, is the greater of what you paid us in the six (6) months before the dispute arose, or 120,000 Satoshis (0.0012 BTC).
Some places don't allow these kinds of limits. If yours doesn't, parts of this section might not apply to you, and you may have additional rights.
You agree to defend us, our contributors, affiliates, and anyone working with us, against any third-party claim, damage, liability, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of: (1) your Contributions; (2) your use of the Services; (3) your breach of these terms; (4) breach of your promises in these terms; (5) violating someone else's rights, including IP; or (6) any overtly harmful act against another user you connected with through the Services. We can take over the defense at your expense; if we do, you'll cooperate. We'll tell you about any such claim as soon as we know about it.
We hold onto certain data you send to the Services so things keep running, plus data about how you use them. We do regular backups for reliability, but they're not a service we offer to you. Backing up your own data is your responsibility. We aren't liable for data loss or corruption, and you waive any right of action against us for that kind of loss.
Using the Services, emailing us, and filling out online forms count as electronic communications. You agree to receive communications from us electronically, and you agree that everything we send (email, in-app notifications, etc.) satisfies any legal requirement that those communications be in writing. You're consenting to electronic signatures, contracts, orders, and other records, and to electronic delivery of notices, policies, and transaction records from us or through the Services. You waive any rights or requirements under any laws that demand an original signature, non-electronic delivery, retention of non-electronic records, or non-electronic payments or credits.
These terms, along with anything else we post on the Services, are the full agreement between you and us. If we don't enforce a right, that's not a waiver of it. The terms apply to the fullest extent the law allows. We can assign our rights and obligations to others anytime. We aren't liable for losses caused by anything outside our reasonable control. If any part of these terms is found unlawful, void, or unenforceable, it's cut out and the rest still applies. Nothing here creates a joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship. You agree these terms won't be read against us just because we wrote them. You also waive any defenses based on the fact that these terms are electronic and unsigned.
To resolve a complaint about the Services, or to get more info about using them, email us at hello@marzigram.com.
